ABC Wed. - "J" - Janet

ABC Wed. and the letter "J" for my sister Janet. I believe I took this photo in the late 80s or early 90s. I thought I'd show it because I changed the photo from color to black and white and put a soft edge on it using my new picture program.

Camera Critters - Bunnies

I posted a photo of just one bunny the other day and here's a bunch in a cage waiting to be adopted. I think it's too many in one cage. Has anyone ever had a bunny in the past or raises one now? I never have had a bunny but I think they're so cute and fuzzy.

Skywatch Friday - Windmill

A little bit of sky with this windmill. There isn't any snow on the ground now. The temperature has been getting up into the 50s and 60s now. Right now it's 43 degrees at around 8:30 a.m.

Thousand Word Thursday Meme - Captured Bunny

I found a new meme called Thousand Word Thursday as in... A picture is worth a thousand words.

This poor little bunny along with three others are scrunched in one cage with not much room. I feel sad for these animals having to be trapped in a little cage, having to go to the bathroom in a confined area and being scared. I hope they get adopted soon so they will have more room to roam.

Blog Hop Monday-Pets and Mellow Yellow Monday-Trail

Blog Hop all about pets. This is my sister's two horses named Spot and Merlin. They were running in her yard. I used a program that I got not long ago to change it to the beach. We had gone to Myrtle Beach so I put the horses on the beach and added a butterfly. This photo is made by using three different photos. I love this new picture program I got. It's called Play with Pictures and is so much fun. You can add people or pets, delete others out, add text, it's so easy and a great way to do a family portrait if you can't ever get them in one location. I did a photo like that too. I can post it if anyone is interested in seeing it.

Sky Watch Friday -Tallyrand Park

This is Tallyrand Park in Bellefonte. I took this while stopped at a red light. I normally never get this shot because there isn't anywhere really to stand on the opposite side of the street to take it. So unless your in your car or standing on the road this shot of Tallyrand is hard to get.

Some people are calling the tilt, slant, laying down the camera on the ground, type photography The Tennin Technique. This is because alot of Eric's photos represent this kind of photography. ABC Wed. "G" = Green

Lot's of green for Saint Patrick's Day. Saint Patty's day is coming in a few weeks but this past weekend was the "State Patty's Day" that Penn State students created. A lot of partying on their part. Alot of locals would like to see this stopped as there is alot of destruction on the town some years. There's a group on facebook now to end State Patty's Day.

And, let me introduce myself as one of the team members this year to ABC Wed. Denise needed help and now we have a great team put together so she doesn't have to bare the work load of running the list. For those who don't know me, my name is Barb, and I've been doing ABC Wed. now for about two years. I love having to use my brain to come up with the letter of the week. Hope everyone can join in each week. Sometimes it can be a challenge to come up with a word and photo for that week but I consider it a good challenge. Keeps your mind working. Ruby Tuesday & My World Meme's - Apples

Today is two meme's called, Ruby Tuesday and My World Tuesday. I have to get back to healthy eating. Yesterday I was feeling kind of sick and I know why. It's because I've been eating a good bit of junk food lately, which is a no, no, since I was diagnosed last year with diabetes. I have to keep my carb count down or I start to feel sick. My dad just got out of the hospital recently because his blood glucose numbers were sky high and they were shocked that he didn't go into a coma. Anyway, if anyone who has diabetes and you have some tried and true good snack type recipes (or even other recipes), would you please share them with me? Thanks.
